I have a healthy admiration for bloggers...
For years I have visited other blogs and admired their craftiness and talent. Designing a blog sounded like so much work- how in the world did they find the time to do it? Now that I have a blog, my admiration has tripled. Wow! This was a lot of work just to get it started! And some brave souls actually blog on a regular basis- with consistency! I have followed these bloggers soaking up their classroom projects, curriculum and behavior management ideas. I have drooled over classroom sizes and budgets that I will probably never see. I have waited with baited breath for the next blog posted... and then there's me. I aspire to be the blogger that posts weekly...I am setting the bar low, because I am pretty sure that I will be unable to keep up with a daily blog...;)
Now that we have established how low you can set your expectations, lol, welcome to my blog! I taught PreK for 9 years, and this is my first year teaching 3rd grade. I am sooo excited! I started this blog mainly to help parents keep up with all the buzz in our classroom. It's also a way for me to post (and keep track of) all the ideas and strategies I come up with (or borrow!) for this school year! Thanks for reading, and wish me luck! :)
